you never ask-
if the sun would rise strong and loud
but the gloominess when its covered by cloud
you never question -
ebbing of the tide
but the rock which can kill its pride
you never doubt-
the diamond's shine
but the shining diamond which is not enough prime
and i certainly never doubted your ability to rhyme


but my ability to keep you mine..

Please dont ask me if I am sure,

Did you ever ask if the sun would rise

Did you ever question ebbing of the tide

Did you doubt the diamond's shine or even my ability to rhyme?

Hell.. you never doubted a traffic jam,

or cramming up two days before the exam

or babies being taken out in the pram.

Then why the apprehension, this rejection....

Do remember, if you crack.. I will crumble
